What this platform collects, how it uses data, and what you should know before relying on any information presented here.
STOCKCLOCK uses an account system to control access to the platform. When you log in, an email address and hashed password are stored in a Cloudflare KV database. Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are hashed with SHA-256 and a random salt before storage.
A session token is issued on login and expires after 24 hours. Only one active session per account is permitted at a time. No tracking pixels, third-party analytics, or advertising cookies are used.
All contract and company data displayed on this site originates from public government sources — USASpending.gov and SEC EDGAR. No user-generated data beyond login credentials is collected at any point.
STOCKCLOCK is a research tool, not an authoritative data source. The following limitations should be understood before relying on any figure.

| CACHED DATA | All data reflects the date of the last pipeline run. Contract values are not updated in real time. Check the Last Refresh date on the dashboard. |
| ENTITY NAME MATCHING | USASpending requires exact legal entity names. Companies with unusual registered names may show $0 in contracts even if awards exist. |
| INFERRED SUPPLIERS | The majority of supplier relationships are inferred from material matching, not confirmed records. They indicate possibility, not fact. |
| DEOBLIGATIONS | Negative contract values caused by funding reductions are floored to $0. True net obligations may differ from displayed figures. |
| UNIVERSE SCOPE | Only NYSE and NASDAQ listed companies are tracked. Private contractors, foreign entities, and small businesses are excluded. |

STOCKCLOCK data refreshes on a periodic pipeline cadence. Figures will not match live government records between pipeline runs - this is expected behavior, not an error.
